WELCOMING MAT PILATES CLASSES
At Exe Valley Pilates, I believe Pilates should do more than give you an hour of exercise.
At Exe Valley Pilates, I don't believe in simply counting repetitions and sending you on your way.
I believe Pilates should help you understand your body, move with greater confidence and feel stronger in everyday life.
That's why my classes are taught, not supervised. With small group sizes, hands-on guidance and a focus on steady progression, you'll be supported to build strength, improve mobility and develop skills that stay with you long after class has finished.
Whether you're completely new to Pilates, returning to exercise, or looking for a class that challenges you in a supportive way, you'll find expert teaching and a welcoming community here.
Life is busy. Sleep isn't always perfect. Work can be demanding. My classes are designed to meet you where you are, while helping you gradually become stronger, more mobile and more confident in your body.
Who are our Pilates Classes for?
My classes are particularly popular with people who:
Want to build strength without the pressure of a gym environment
Are returning to exercise after time away
Want to improve mobility, posture and flexibility
Are navigating the changes that come with midlife and menopause
Want to stay active, strong and independent as they age
Value expert teaching and personal attention
You don't need to be fit, flexible or experienced to start Pilates.
Many of my clients joined because they wanted to feel better in their bodies, reduce aches and stiffness, or find a form of exercise that felt sustainable for the long term.
At Exe Valley Pilates, you'll never be just another person in the room.
Every class is intentionally small, creating space for personal attention, meaningful progress and those rewarding moments when everything clicks into place.
A Thoughtful Approach to Pilates
I teach a blend of classical and contemporary Pilates, combining traditional Pilates principles with modern understanding of movement and strength.
Rather than teaching random workouts each week, I work in blocks of around 6-7 weeks, allowing us to build skills and progress over time.
That means you'll have the opportunity to:
Develop better movement patterns
Improve core strength and stability
Build confidence in your body
Track your progress
Understand how Pilates supports everyday life
Because real change happens through consistency, not intensity.
Come for the exercise. Stay for how it makes you feel.
Pilates can help you build strength and mobility, but the real magic is often how you feel afterwards: calmer, clearer and more connected to yourself.
