This website is operated by Exe Valley Pilates. Throughout the site, the terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Exe Valley Pilates. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to comply with these Terms, including additional policies referenced herein or linked via hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users, including browsers, vendors, customers, and content contributors.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing our website. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the website following updates constitutes acceptance of the changes.

T&C’s for Garden Studio

1. Studio Class Bookings

• All classes must be booked and paid for in advance.

• Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Clients are responsible for ensuring their booking details are correct.

• Waitlist procedures and notifications.

2. Payment Terms

• All classes are booked and paid for in advance.

• Block fees and class packs are non-transferable.

• Prices may be changed with reasonable notice.

• Expired class credits cannot be refunded or extended except at management discretion.

• Bookings are non transferable to other people or clients.

• Any Introductory offers may only be used once per person.

• Offers cannot be combined.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

• Classes cancelled less than 12 hours before the start time will be charged in full.

• No-shows forfeit the class credit or session fee.

• Please arrive 5 mins before the start of your class. Class will start on time and Late arrivals may not be admitted if the class has already commenced.

4. Health & Medical Disclosure

• Clients must inform the studio of injuries, pregnancies, medical conditions, or physical limitations.

• Participation is at the client's own risk.

• Clients should seek medical advice before beginning an exercise programme if unsure about

their fitness to participate.

5. Assumption of Risk

• Pilates involves physical activity and carries inherent risks, including injury.

• Clients voluntarily participate and accept those risks.

6. Liability Waiver

• The studio, instructors, and staff are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages except where

liability cannot be excluded by law.

• Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where

prohibited by law.

7. Studio Rules

• Grip socks ARE be required. No grip socks no class. Clients may purchase socks at the studio. Or borrow a pair if forgotten.

• Appropriate exercise clothing must be worn.

• Mobile phones should be silenced during classes.

• Machine allocation is at the teacher’s discretion. Machines cannot be reserved.

• Respectful behaviour towards staff and other clients is expected.

8. Personal Property

• Personal belongings are brought to the studio at the client's own risk.

• The studio accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

10. Pregnancy Policy

• Clients must notify instructors if pregnant.

• Participation during pregnancy may require medical clearance.

• Certain exercises may be modified or restricted.

11. Photography & Marketing

• Whether photographs or videos may be taken during classes.

• How images may be used for marketing purposes.

• Client consent and opt-out procedures.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

• Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

• Information may be used for bookings, payments, communications, and service delivery.

13. Studio Cancellations

• The studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes.

• The studio reserves the right to cancel a class with fewer than two persons.

• Alternative classes or credits will be offered where appropriate.

14. Changes to Terms

• The studio may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

• Updated terms will be made available on the website and/or at the studio.

Booking Conditions

• Your place cannot be held without full payment. Places are held for current clients for a period of 7 days only after which time your place will be offered to someone else if no payment has been made.

• Bookings are usually taken in 6-8 week blocks to ensure you commit to those classes so that 1 you can see the benefit Pilates is bringing to you. If you have a prior engagement one week then you can simply swap into another class subject to available space.

• All classes must be booked and paid for in advance. No show = No refund.

• If for whatever reason, you decide that Pilates is not for you after your first session then I will simply refund you for the entire course, you won’t pay a penny. I’m sure this won’t be the case!

• Please be punctual. Classes will start on time and if you are late, you will be responsible for your own warm up before starting the lesson. However, if you are attending a mid morning class please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before in order to allow the previous class to leave. Please wait quietly if there is a class still in session.

• Please bring your own mat. I have a few spares BUT I NEED TO KNOW IN ADVANCE IF YOU WANT ME TO PROVIDE ONE. Hygienically it is much nicer to have your own mat. Bringing a small towel or mini pillow can also be useful for support.

• Classes that need to be cancelled by Beth due to adverse weather conditions or unforseaable circumstances will be replaced with either a live zoom lesson or sent out as a recorded lesson. Refunds or swaps will not be given.

• Please be aware of others around you. If you are not feeling well is it best for you to be in a group exercise class? All government guidelines will be adhered to.

• ENJOY! You are coming because you want to. Fitness should be fun and enjoyable. This is a friendly, warm, welcoming place. This is not a competitive environment. The focus is totally about you and your mat.
